PASPALEY POLO IN THE CITY
Albert Park, 30 November 2013
Melbourne turned on the perfect sunshine at the eighth Paspaley Polo in the City held Saturday 30th November, in Albert Park. Once again, the Paspaley VIP marquee took centre stage, featuring a gallery of Paspaley pearl jewellery and glamorous Megan Hess illustrations. A seafood bar serving Paspaley pearl meat canapés and oysters. The cocktail bar on the deck and a penthouse no less, were where guests enjoyed bird’s eye views of the polo action. The star of the sideline marquees, were undoubtedly Christopher Paspaley, Megan Hess, Rob Archibald, Francesca Cumani, Alice Burdeu, Christian Blanchard, Lauren Philips Georgia and Ruki Baillieu, one of Australia’s highest rated international polo players, Camilla Deague, Rebecca and Chris Judd, David Briskin, Russel Howcroft, Scherri Lee Biggs, Leah De Niese and Arthur Galan. Veuve Clicquot added a Clicquot twist to the day with their 50’s diner “Clicquot Airstream party on wheels”, and Land Rover went safari with a glamorous African themed tent surrounded by Land Rover vehicles ready for outback adventures. Guests trod the divots with Land Rover ambassador 2005 Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins keeping up the US Polo tradition of 'Miss Universe Enjoys a Day Out at the Polo'.
